These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Anonymize Faces mobile application (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Anonymize Faces lets you anonymize faces (and, in features not currently enabled, whole people) in photos and video you choose, using on-device pixelation or on-device AI-generated face replacement, before saving the result to a separate album in your Photos library. All processing happens locally on your device — see our Privacy Policy for full detail on what is and isn’t collected.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the App.
You retain all rights to the photos and videos you process with the App. We do not claim any ownership over your content, and — as described in our Privacy Policy — we never receive a copy of it in the first place, since all processing happens on your own device.
You are solely responsible for the content you choose to process and for having the right to do so (for example, appropriate rights or consent regarding any other people who appear in photos or videos you process).
You agree not to use the App to:
Anonymize Faces Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription, available as a monthly or annual plan, unlocking Realistic Face (AI-generated face replacement), video anonymization, custom photo metadata, and in-app history. Specific current pricing and duration are shown in the App before you purchase.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App’s detection or anonymization will identify or successfully anonymize every face or person in every photo or video, or that results will meet your expectations. You are responsible for reviewing the App’s output before relying on it for privacy or safety purposes — the App’s before/after comparison and manual-region tools exist specifically so you can check and correct its output before you rely on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any consequence of a face or person not being fully anonymized in a photo or video you processed.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, where applicable.
